Create your own birth announcements or holiday cards with a surprise picture or moment inside of a memory pocket. Use colored card stock to suit your color needs.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions to use your ShapeCutter™ properly. Always cut your shapes on the craft mat. Make sure that the ShapeTemplate™ is right side up ( words are read correctly ).

Cut a piece of cardstock in half, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" for the card. Fold in half with right side out.

Use the memory pocket template to cut three star pockets. The colors should alternate, either with different coordinating colors or with the color on the opposite side of the cardstock. Use the scoring guide to score only one of the stars. Fold the pocket as per instructions on guide. Use the star mat to cut your photo to fit in the center of the folded star.

Glue the remaining stars together, centering one on top and staggering the points so that they are centered between each other. The points will be folded toward the center, so keep that in mind when placing the colors. Fold the first point towards the center, making a point. Continue floding all the points in the same way as pictured.

Glue the pocket in the center of the folded star. Glue the whole piece to the front, left side of the card.

Use the marker or stick on letters to write a name or special greeting on the card.
