| Instructions
|
| 1. |
1. Measure and cut an 8” x 11” and 5 ½”
x 4” piece or yellow paper, a 6 3/8” x 10”, a
5” x 12” and 4” x 5 ½” piece of white
paper and a 5 ½” x 4 piece of pink paper. Using the
square shape template trace a 1 ¼” and a 1” square
on the pink, white and yellow papers. Using the circle shape template
trace a 1 1/2” and a 2” circle on the white paper. |

2. Using the purple, red and yellow markers alternately
mark lines across the 5” x 12” white paper the short
way and across the 2” circle. First mark red lines ¾”
to 1” apart and then mark a purple line between and then yellow
lines here and there. The lines don’t have to be straight.
Keep it loose and have fun. Using a cotton swab chalk across the
lines alternating pink and yellow. Using the silver glitter paint
squirt lines over the lines and spread around the paintbrush. Let
dry. |

3. Glue the 4” x 5 ½” pink paper
to the 12” strip of lined paper ½” from the right
side and ½” from the bottom. Center and glue a 1”
yellow square to a 1 ¼” pink square; a 1” pink
square to a 1 ¼” white square and a 1” white
square to a 1 ¼” yellow square and let dry. Punch 1/8”
holes through the middle of all the squares. Attach the purple,
yellow and pink flower brads through the squares as shown. Glue
the squares on the lined paper as shown with the first square 1
¼” from the left side and ¼” between the
other squares. Let dry. |

4. Glue the large yellow piece of paper ¼”
in from the right side of the pink paper and ¼” down
from the top. Glue the large white piece of paper over the yellow
one 5/8” from the left side and 1 1/8” down form the
top. Glue the lined strip across the bottom 7/8” from the
bottom. Glue the smaller yellow panel 1” in form the left
and 1 ¼” down from the top. Glue the white panel 7/8”
in form the right and ¼” down from the top. Let dry.

5. Using the bullet-tip of the markers line around
the pink panel with purple, the white panel with yellow and the
yellow panel with pink. Using cotton swabs chalk over the purple
line with yellow, the yellow line with pink and the pink line with
purple. |

6. Glue the 1 ½” circle centered on the
2” striped circle. Punch a ¼” hole in the top
of the circle and the stripes running horizontally. Copy “best
friends” onto tracing paper, turn over and go over the letters
with a pencil. Lay the tracing paper right-side up with the letters
centered in the white circle and go over them with a ballpoint pen.
Using the fine-tip of the purple marker line over the letters and
around the white circle. |

7. Cut the striped ribbon in half and glue one end
of each piece behind the side of the page with the top of the ribbon
5/8” below the top of the page. Let dry. Tie the ribbon into
a knot through the tag and trim ends to 1 ¾”. Glue
the pink rickrack across the top of the striped paper. Let dry.
