Materials
Needed
Cardstock or construction
paper – white, orange and blue (or use team colors)
Blue check paper
Craft thread – one skein each
blue and orange
½” blue buttons –
four
Orange ribbon – ¼”
wide
Black permanent marker
Glue
Scissors
Instructions
1.
1. Glue ribbon across and 8 ½” x 11”
white cardstock sheet, 1” from top and bottom.

2. Cut a 4” x 6” rectangle from blue check
paper. Cut a 4 ¼” x 6 ¼” rectangle from
blue cardstock. Glue rectangles together and glue to top right corner
of page. Glue photo on blue check rectangle.

3. Cut a 2” x 11” rectangle from blue
cardstock and blue to left side of page. Write “We’ve
Got the Spirit” on white cardstock with black marker. Cut
a rectangle around words and glue to top of blue rectangle on page.

4. Cut pennant shape from orange cardstock. Cut a
½” wide strip from blue check paper. And glue to left
side of pennant. Write “GO TEAM” on pennant with black
marker. Fold two 1 ½” pieces of ribbon in half and
glue to pennant at top and bottom of blue check strip. Glue buttons
on top of ribbon on pennant. Glue pennant across bottom of page.
5.
5. Cut loops at ends of craft thread skeins. Remove
labels from skeins. Separate a strand from each of the skeins. Place
skeins together with ends even and cut in half. Mix colors in each
of the halves. Tie a separate strand tightly around the center of
each of the halves to make pompoms. Open up pompoms into circles
and trim ends if needed. Glue pompoms to page above and below pennant.
Glue a button on top and bottom ribbon pieces on page.
