Materials Needed

2-12” x 12” blue papers, one each red and white and papers

1-8 ½” x 11 yellow paper
Fiskars® Circles Template
Fiskars® 1/8” circle hand punch
Blue chalk
Red, blue, black and yellow markers
Glue
Scissors
Pencil
Tracing paper
Cotton swabs
Ruler
26” red and yellow jewelry hemp
   
 
Instructions
1. 1. Measure and cut a 12” x 5” strip and 3 ½” square of white paper, a 4" x 12” strip of red paper and a 3 12/” square of blue paper. Using the circles shape template trace a 4” and 3” circle on white paper, a 3 ½” circle on yellow paper and a 4” circle on red paper with a pencil. Cut the circles out.
2. 2. Cut the patterns for the soccer balls onto tracing paper, turn the paper over and go over the lines again with a pencil. Turn the tracing paper right side up on the white circle that fits and go over the lines again with a ball point pen. Color in the sections of the balls market “B” with the bullet tip of the black marker. Set aside to dry.
3. 3. Draw lines across the white strip of paper the short way 1” apart with the bullet tip of the red marker. Draw two lines between the red lines with the bullet tip of the blue marker. Draw lines here and there with the bullet tip of the yellow marker. The lines don’t have to be perfectly straight or exactly 1” apart. Keep it loose and have fun. Using a cotton swab chalk over the lines with blue here and there.
4. 4. Glue the white strip the long way on the right wit the right edge flush against the blue paper. Glue the red strip over the striped paper with the left side flush with the left side of the striped paper. Glue the blue, white and yellow squares over the red paper centered and 3/8” from the top and bottom and 3/8” between. Glue the balls as shown on the remaining blue paper. Trim the bottom white and red ball to fit as shown. Transfer the letters as described above and go over them with the bullet tip of the black marker. Punch three sets of 1/8” holes 1 ¼” apart, 5/8” from the red strip, ½” from the top and ½” in between. Thread the red and yellow jewelry hemp through the holes as shown, tie into a bow at the bottom and trim ends.
