Susan’s Designer Tip: Patterned paper really conveys the energy of the photos—and because Camden is such an energetic little guy, I chose a playful dot background paper. I used an assortment of ribbon, art, and brad embellishments to decorate the mat. Remember the Rule of Uneven Numbers when choosing embellishments and select one, three, five or seven embellishments. Note the three star brads on the photo mat, for example.

Materials Needed

Boy Finished In a Flash Page Kit

White paper
Black inkpad
Black pen
Foam tape
Clear tape

Instructions
1. Mat the photo on green textured paper, then glue to the left side of a 9 3/4” x 6” rectangle of orange textured paper. Ink the edges black and wrap a length of yellow grosgrain ribbon around the right side of the orange mat, taping the ends to the back. Glue the mat centered to the upper portion of the dots on blue paper. Add the baseball cap Brad Budd™ to the dots square and center over the yellow ribbon. Add the“Boy” and “Run” fragments above and below. Add star brads.
2. Glue a photo to the back of the blue words frame so it’s centered through the opening. Mat on orange paper, rounding the corners, then ink the edges. Add a folded piece of ribbon to the right side and glue to the lower left portion of the page. Add a blue mini brad.
3. Computer print or write journaling by hand on white paper with the black pen. Trim to a rectangle and mat on orange. Ink the edges black and add the remaining star brad to corner of journaling. Journal the year on white, trim and mat on orange, inking the edges black. Glue to a length of yellow grosgrain and wrap around the bottom left corner of the page, securing the ends on the back.
