Sakura – Dragonfly Window Card

Materials Needed:
  • White and turquoise card stock
  • Blue, green and white Souffle Pens, Sakura Color Products of America
  • Stickler, dragon fly  and flowers, Sakura Color Products of America
  • Transparency square - 2 1/3” x 2 ¼”
  • 2 ½” silk daisy
  • Blue 1/3” brad
  • Scissors, paper trimmer, corner rounder
  • Glue, tape runner
Instructions:

Dragonfly Window Card

  1. Cut white cardstock 8 ½” x 5 ½”. Fold in half to form a card 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.
  2. Cut turquoise cardstock 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Glue to inside of card. Round corners of card.
  3. Cut a 1 5/8” square opening at the top half of the front of the card, so that the turquoise card stock will show through.
  4. Place a dragonfly sticker at an angle on the transparency square.
  5. Take blue and green Souffle pens and fill in the wings and body of the dragonfly.
  6. Take the white Souffle pen and dot around the dragonfly. Write thank you on the transparency.
  7. With the blue Souffle pen dot around the card window. Make swirls of dots at the bottom of the card. Ink will lighten as it dries.
  8. Apply adhesive to transparency square and adhere the sticker design to the card window.
  9. Glue flower to bottom right of card. Secure brad to middle of flower.
  10. Decorate envelope with flower Sticklers if desired
