Cut a piece of gold card stock to 11 x 7. Fold to 5 1/2 x 7 for card.
Stencil flower on weathered-look card stock using Alazarin Crimson
paintstik color. Stencil for sample card is from Birds and a Bloom,
by Laura Murray Designs.
Allow paintstik color to dry. Color will be dry to the touch on paper
in about 30 minutes, and should be completely dry in 24 hours.
Tear stenciled paper to approximately 3 1/4 x 5.
Using a stencil brush, shade "white" edges of cardstock using
Iridescent Copper paintstik color. Set aside to dry.
Tear rust card stock to approximately 3 3/4 x 5 1/2. It should be
just a little bit larger than the stenciled card stock.
Tear navy blue card stock to 2 3/4 x 6 1/4.
Layer navy, rust, and painted card stock on gold card. Attach with
glue stick or your favorite adhesive.
Tear 5 squares of gold card stock, about 3/4" square. Tear 5 squares of rust card stock, about 1/2" square.
Use glue stick to attach rust squares to gold squares.
String metallic bugle beads on copper beading wire. Wrap wire around
card stock squares, twisting wire in the back after 3-5 wraps. Trim
wire ends.
Use small foam double-stick squares to attach embellished squares to
