Mat the photo with orange paper, leaving a 1/8” wide mat. Ink the mat edges brown and mat again with plaid paper, leaving a 7/16” wide border. Glue the mat centered, 1/2” from the top of the orange with leaves paper.
Use the stitch template and a black pen to make stitches on the seam between the plaid mat and the background paper, one set of stitches per side. Add additional stitching across the bottom of the page, 3/4” from the edge
Add the Autumn tab cut-out near the top right corner of the photo, tucking the edge under the image. Use foam tape to add the “vintage autumn” cut-out to the bottom of the photo mat and the leaves and pumpkin cut-out to the bottom of the page, over the stitching.
Add some cross-stitching to your page without even sewing! I used the template to add “x” stitching on each side of the mat, as if the stitches were “tacking” the mat in place. I repeated the stitching on the cut-outs by making a large stitched border at the bottom of the page.
