How to decorate the Speakin’ Up! 30 second voice recorder:

  3. Cut a strip of black and white patterned paper to 3 3/8” x 3 inches and tear along each side (longer sides).
  4. Attach the paper to the Speakin’ Up! recorder slightly off center.
  5. Using a black fine tip permanent marker make stitch marks around the edges. Above the speaker and below the play button write the words & dots (in this case it said buzz … buzz…buzz…).
  6. Attach yellow and orange rhinestones randomly on the paper portion.
  7. Attach black & white dotted ribbon at the bottom.

Recording your message:

  1.  Move the enable/disable switch to the “enable” position.
  2. Hold down the record button until it beeps.
  3. While holding down the record button, begin recording your message fro up to 30 seconds.
  4. Once the recorder is full or you have stopped recording, you will hear another beep.
  5. Press play on the front to check the recording
  6. Once the desired message is obtained, change the enable/disable switch to the “disable” position, this will prevent any accidental recordings.
  7. Attach the decorated Speakin’ Up! to your page or project using glue dots or other strong adhesive.
