Instructions:

  1. Strengthen craft or paper bag paper by mounting or adhering to cardstock.
  2. Cut borders from patterned paper using scissors.  Can do this freehand or trace a round object such as a glitter glue bottle.  Adhere to pages at top and bottom.
  3. Cut two pieces of corrugate to pages.  A different size on each page to add interest and make more dynamic.
  4. Distress photo corners with sandpaper or nail file.
  5. Place larger photo under right page corrugate.
  6. To make embellishment out of punch-out phrases, which seem to accumulate and rather than choosing the “perfect” phrase, we can use a variety that some what apply to add a 3-d element.  Choose 8-10 longer shaped phrases and use small hole punch on one end of all pieces.  Use brad to secure together as it will be most secure so the piece won’t shift about.
  7. Places fanned phrases in lower right-hand corner of right page.
  8. Cut slits in flower and thread hemp through and tie a bow.  Adhere on top of fanned phrases with glue dots.
  9. Place larger photograph on right page and smaller on left, on top of corrugate.
  10. Use foam tape to adhere vertical word, green photo corner and to secure parts of fanned punch-outs.  May have to add some glue to back of flower punch-out to secure.
  11. Green photo corner goes over large photo upper-right corner.
  12. Adhere second word punch-out using glue or double-sided tape below large photo.
  13. Adhere parentheses using foam tape.
  14. To create other visual interest using extra letters chose a letter that you have multiples of and that you can attribute to something related to your page such as “v” for volcanoes, vivid, vamos and verde.  Or “a” for Alisa, Aaron, adventure and always.
  15. Place letters in a circular pattern in the upper left-hand corner of left page.
  16. Place corrugate flower in center.
  17. Journal and adhere flush to corrugate.
