Materials Needed:
  • 1” chipboard circles
  • 1” circle punch
  • pattern paper scraps
  • Diamond glaze
  • glitter glue
  • Souffle pen (or embossing pen)

Instructions:

Wendy shares some tricks on how use your extra scraps to create a colorful 12x12 page. Get ready to learn the quick and easy secrets to using glitter glue, journaling cards, and circle punches.
1. First, gather pattern paper scraps that have similar colors (for this project, I used any pattern that had yellow or pink).
2. Next, create a layout foundation with cardstock, three 4”x 6” photos, and pattern paper strips.
3. Add your journaling to the journal card.
4. Now add the trim and rub-ons to your page.
5. Punch out 1” circles from your scraps.
6. Then adhere the paper circle to the chipboard circles.
7. Now add some dimension to your design, add diamond glaze, glitter, or ink to the images on the circles (let dry).
8. Finally, adhere the circles along bottom of your photos to create a border.
