When thinking storybooks, think FUN!
Think layers, think embellishments, think scraps… anything
goes!!! Keep it simple or go all out. Share your memory by sending
it off as an incredible card with an envelope, or mount your storybook
directly onto your memory page. |

1. |
Crop and mount your photos into your storybook. Mat
your photos to bring in great color. |

2. |
Decorate the cover by cutting and mounting two strips
of ric-rac on top and bottom of embossed window. |

3. |
Overlap blue and green squares and center favorite
sticker onto squares. Add dimension by adhering foam squares to
back of piece. |

4. |
Create a journaling piece by layering blue and white
squares and adding eyelets. Add an interesting title. |

5. |
To create the layered tag, tear a 1” strip from
the yellow corrugated square. Tear both top and bottom of strip. |

Adhere the torn corrugated strip directly to front
of tag. Turn tag over and trim off overlapping edges. |

7. |
Punch two small holes 1” from top of page. String
cording through tag and punched holes. Tie cording into knot or
bow. |

8. |
Snip off corners of small blue square and use as photo
corners to journaling piece. |

9. |
Layer small, medium and large (blue, yellow, and white)
squares together. Add dimension by adding foam squares. Overlap
this piece onto Photo. |

10. |
Layer blue and yellow squares together. String beads
with lettering together on thin wire. Attach to back of square with
tape. |

11. |
With decorative edge scissors, cut a rippled edge
on red around small white square. Adhere foam square to back and
add a cute red button for a finishing touch. |

12. |
Cut a blue strip of paper (2 5/8” x 5 ½”)
Mount the strip, centered, and adhere ric-rac to both sides of strip.
Add eyelets to corners. |

13. |
Adhere three mini vellum envelopes to center strip.
Stuff mini envelopes with favorite memorabilia. Copy and reduce
photos and stick into envelopes. Create a miniature invitation or
birthday card. |
