Using Rubber Bands as Accents
Materials Needed
  Light green cardstock
  Dark green cardstock
  Brown cardstock
  1 ½” square Punch
  1 ¼” square punch
  1/16” hole punch
  Leaf punches
  Tag die cuts or template
  Magic mesh
  Mini rubber bands
  Gold brads
  Scissors
  Acid-free adhesive
 
Instructions
  1. Cut a small tag (approximately 1 ¾” x 2 ¾”) from a die or template using brown cardstock. Cut identical tag shape from Magic Mesh and layer over cardstock tag.
  2. Punch 1 ½” square punch from dark green cardstock and 1 ¼” square from light green cardstock. Also punch leaf shape from dark green cardstock. Layer squares together and adhere leaf shape to layered squares.
  3. Using hole punch, punch small hole in each corner of light green square and add brads. Attach rubber bands to brads diagonally across square. Attach square to mesh covered tag and adhere to page.
    For other page accents, attach brads to page and loop rubber bands around brads for form a border or corner accents for photos.
