Terrifically Tacky Tape – half inch spool
  Provo Craft Stickeez letters
  Black cardstock
  Turquoise cardstock
  White cardstock
  Fiskars Paper Trimmer
  Large tray
  Adhesive

Instructions
  1. Matte both photos – add a double matte to the focal photo.
  2. Print out a title/journaling block on your computer leaving room for a highlight word in the title – in this case I chose the word “Oprah.” Matte the title/journaling block.
  3. Cut out each letter of your highlight word from the alphabet strip of Provo Craft’s Stickeez., Each letter is sticky on both sides – the paper on each side peels off.
  4.  Peel off the paper on the back of a letter. Position the letter on your cardstock and then peal off the clear paper on top of the letter. Repeat this until each letter is on the cardstock.
  5. Place the title/journaling block with the Stickeez letter stickers on a tray – find a tray with a lip around the edge so the beads don’t run off the tray. There are trays made for Micro Beads and can be found in most craft stores.
  6. Pour the Ocean-colored Art Accents Micro Beads onto the area of the highlighted word. Use your fingers to press the micro beads into the Stickeez letters – some people prefer to use a brayer. Continue to pour more micro beads on to the desired area until you notice the area is covered with beads. Gently life the title/journaling block leaving excess beads in the tray. Dust off any extra beads that didn’t stick – there will always be a few loose beads.
  7. Place your photos and title/journaling block on your page to get an idea of where the top and bottom border strip of micro beads should be placed. Remove your photos.
  8. Next we’ll use Terrifically Tacky Tape that comes in a spool. Lift the end of the tape off the spool and put the edge on the left side of your scrapbook page. Slowly work that tape across the top of the page. When you come to the end trim the tape.
  9. This tape has a reddish/clear strip of paper on top. Peel that strip off leaving the tacky tape on the page.
  10. Place the scrapbook page in the tray and pour the Ocean-colored Art Accents Micro Beads onto the tacky taped area. Follow Step 6 again.
  11. Remove your scrapbook page from the tray and add a strip of Terrifically Tacky Tape on the bottom of your scrapbook page. Follow Step 10 again.
  12. Place your photos and title/journaling block on your page and adhere them with adhesive.
    Tips:
  1. Use a very tacky tape. I prefer the Terrifically Tacky Tape because it has a sponge-like quality and the micro beads adhere well to it! Other adhesives will work – even liquid. I recommend trying a few out before working on your page.
  2. The tacky tape comes in sheets as well. I’ve used my craft punches on these sheets of tape and sometimes they become gummy and do not work. If this happens squirt adhesive remover into the punch, try punching on a scrap piece of paper and the punch should be back to new. Often I trace the shape I want onto the tacky tape sheet and cut it out to avoid using a craft punch.
  3. Using a tray designed for micro beads is highly recommended. These trays have a hole on one side so you can easily pour your beads back into a container for storage. Not every bead will make it back to its original container – don’t fret. There are thousands of beads – a few lost beads will not be a big waste.
  4. Clear micro beads are my favorite. I often use them on pre-made die cuts to add a little dimension. Micro beads are not bulky – so it’s a nice texture without weighing down your scrapbook page.
