Materials Needed
  Fiskars Shape Cutter Tool
  Fiskars Shape Cutter Square template
  Fiskars craft matte
  Fiskars Rope Border Punch
  Fiskars Paper Trimmer
  Fiskars Micro tip scissors
Fiskars ¼ inch round hand punch
  White cardstock
  Yellow cardstock (or decorative paper)
  Blue cardstock
  Three blue brads
  Adhesive
  Blue and yellow fibers

Instructions
  1. Cut a piece of blue cardstock 2 ¾ x 7 ½
  2. Cut a piece of white cardstock 3 ¼ x 7 ½
  3. Cut a piece of yellow paper 2 x 7 ½
  4. Place the craft matte on a table. Place a piece of white card stock on the craft matte and the square Shape Cutter template on top of the paper. Make sure you can read the word Fiskars on the template – if it’s on the wrong side you will not be able to cut the shapes out.
  5. Using your Shape Cutter tool, cut three 1 ½ inch squares from the white paper.
  6. Turn your rope Border Punch upside down in your hand with the open side on the left.
  7. Insert a white square into the punch from the bottom and slide upwards to just past the second swirl of the pattern and punch.
  8. Rotate the square counter clockwise and repeat step 7. Continue to rotate and punch until all four sides have been punched.
  9. Adhere punched squares to yellow paper. Poke a whole through the center of the white punched designs and insert a brad.
  10. Using your rope border punch, punch along both sides of the white cardstock making sure to line up the pattern so it’s the same on both sides.
  11. Adhere the yellow paper to the white paper you just punched. Adhere this to the blue paper.
  12. Use the ¼ inch round hand punch and punch a whole at the top of the card.
  13. Tie some blue and yellow fibers through the hole.
    Tips:
  1. Practice makes perfect when doing the border punch designs on the white squares. When you insert the paper check to make sure you won’t punch on top of another punched design. If you do this your pattern will look awkward.
  2. You can use a number of different border punches to create these squares. Each border punch gives a different look.
