Instructions
1.
Cut one full sheet of paper in half so that each
piece measures 5.5 x 8.5. Score a line
2.125” from each short end of the paper. Fold both sides inward
toward the center.
2.
With the front of the card facing down use the card
boss and stencil to emboss a design on the three outer edges of
both flaps.
3.
Cut a 7” x 4” piece of matching patterned
paper. Unfold the flaps of the card then glue this piece to the
center of the front of the card. Refold the card.
4.
Emboss the words “Thank You” onto a cream
colored piece of card stock. Use the edge of the stencil to emboss
a line around the edges of the card. Note: It is easier to emboss
the words first then trim the paper to size making sure your words
are centered. Glue this piece of card to a scrap of mirri card then
trim the mirri card leaving a 1/8” (.125”) border around
the cream colored piece.
5.
5. Attach this card to the front, left flap of your
card with a sticker. Add an additional sticker for embellishment
if desired.
6.
6. Use the envelope template and shape cutter to cut
one envelope from a second full sheet of paper. Use the guide to
emboss folding lines on the envelope. The lining should be smaller
than the card and glued only to the envelope flap and about 4”
down from where the flap folds down. Use the template to cut the
lining. Cut one side first, then move the template over 1”
so the finished lining will be smaller.
NOTE:
Cards are a great way to use up all your extra scraps of paper,
stickers and embellishments and nothing says “Thank You”
better than a handmade card.
