Embossed Textured Card

Many useful projects can be made from
the small scraps of cardstock you have left over when scrapbooking,
using your scrapbooking tools. Here are 3 samples:

Card stock – hunter green, silver
Wax paper
Silver star embellishment
Mini glue dot

Instructions
1.
Using paper trimmer, cut hunter green card stock
to 4-1/4” x 8-1/2”. Fold in half to form a 4-1/4”
x 4-1/4” square card.
2.
Measure 1-1/4” up from bottom corner edge and
cut at a 90 degree angle. Repeat on other front corner edge.
3.
Unfold card and lay card front, back side up over
“square” Texture Plate. Cover card stock with wax paper
and use stylus to texture.
4.
Using border punch, punch lace design in both corners
of one long edge of the silver strip. Align silver strip with inside
bottom edge of card and glue.
5.
Use ShapeCutter and squares ShapeTemplate to cut
a 2-1/2” square from silver paper. Punch one lace design in
each of the four square corners.
6.
Position the silver square between stencil set on
Mini ShapeBoss Embossing System. Emboss swirl design.
7.
Adhere the silver square as shown in example. Attach
the silver star to center of embossed swirl with glue dot.
