1. Thread ¼” ribbon onto a tapestry needle. This makes it is easier to thread the ribbon through the holes. (This has a blunt tip and a large eye.)

2. Make holes in the card about ½” apart and three holes in the backing piece about ½” apart as shown.

3. Leaving a tail at the front of the card, push the ribbon down through hole A then down through hole D. Bring the ribbon up through hole C then up through hole A. Push the ribbon down through hole B then down through hole D. Bring the ribbon up through hole E then hp through hole B. Trim the tails to the same length.
