Instructions
  1.

Cut the sheet of green paper in half to make two cards, 5 ½” x 8 ½” Score a line down the center then fold.
  2. Cut a piece of tan paper about 3” x 4”. Crimp the paper then trim to 3” x 3”.
  3. Use the diamond template to cut a large diamond from Ivory cardstock. Cut in half to form two triangles with the pinking scissors, and then trim the remaining two edges with the pinking scissors. Option: Use the template to draw a triangle pattern on paper then cut with the paper edgers.
  4. Punch a star from the gold paper.
  5. Spirelli Accent: Tape the end of the gold metallic thread to one side of the triangle – this will be the back. Starting at the center of the short side, bring the thread from the back to the front passing through two points along the edge. Pull the thread across the front to the opposite point. Wrap around the point then bring the thread across the front of the triangle down through the notch next the one where you started. Bring the thread across the back of the triangle then up through the notch next to the opposite point. Continue wrapping the thread around the triangle in a clockwise direction until you finish at the starting point. Note: At each corner of the triangle, wrap around the back of the point then bring the thread across the front. Tape the end to the back.
  6. Adhere the Spirelli accent to the center of the crimped square then adhere both to the front of the card. Adhere the gold star to the tip of the triangle.
