Painted Flowers Card (G5)

Materials Needed

Cardstock: green and white

Patterned paper: rose paisley and white polka dot
Paint: (Blue Raspberry, Honeydew, Strawberries & Cream)
Accents: (pastel buttons)
Fibers: white/black ribbon and white thread
Font
Adhesive
Tools:
flower punch
computer and printer, paintbrush, paper trimmer, scissors,  sewing machine
Finished size: 6" square
 
Instructions
1.

Make card from white polka dot paper. Drybrush Honeydew and Strawberries & Cream paint along edges; let dry.

2. Cut Green  cardstock to 4 1/2" x 4 1/4". Stitch edges and adhere.
3. Print sentiment on Rose Paisley paper; trim, stitch edges, and adhere.
4. Drybrush all paints on white cardstock, using a crisscross pattern; let dry. Punch out flowers, adhere buttons, and adhere to card.
5. Tie ribbon around card front.

DESIGNER TIP

  To drybrush, pick up paint in a brush that has dry bristles. Wipe off excess on a piece of paper towel. Lightly brush paint on to surface.
