Instructions
1. Cut a 2” square and a 4” square from patterned blue paper for the apron. Antique the edges with blue ink, using a small piece of dry sponge. Punch nine ¼” rectangle holes across the 4” apron square, 1/8” from the top edge and ½” apart. TIP: if the paper has a strip pattern, stripes will be placed vertically for the bottom of the apron and horizontally for the bib of the apron.
2. Punch four elegant fountain border sections side by side on the blue cardstock. Symmetrically cut a 2” strip and a 4” strips from the punched border that is ¾” wide. Glue the strips across the top of the bib and ¼” from the bottom of the apron. (Strips will separate into two sections when cut. Do not glue the narrow strips to the apron pieces). Punch four elegant fountain border sections side by side on the blue cardstock. Cut tow 2” x 3” triangles symmetrically form the punched border strip and glue the pieces, including the narrow strips, to the top corners of the card (To cut triangles, draw a pencil line vertically through the center o f two punched sections. Place a lucite ruler at an angle on the strip with the corner point on the pencil line and measure 2” down from the point to the edge of the cardstock on both sides). Punch a heart form the blue cardstock and cut a 1” square around the heart for a pocket. Glue the pocket to the top left side of the 4” apron square. Glue rhinestones to the center of the heart.
3. For the apron neckband, glue the ends of a 3 ½” piece of 3/8” wide ribbon to the top corners of the bib on the back side. Insert the 32” piece of 3/8” ribbon through the rectangle holes on the 4” square, leaving an 11” length on the right side of the 4” square. Glue the apron squares stacked on the card front, centering them from side to side. Wrap the ribbon on the left side around the back of the card and tie into a bow on the right side. Trim the bow ends even.
4. To make a tag for the card, punch tow elegant border sections side by side on the blue cardstock. Cut a 1 ¼” x 3” rectangle symmetrically from the punched border (the border should be on a short side). Trim the opposite short side of the rectangle to a point. Print “You’re invited to a Kitchen Bridal Shower” on the white cardstock. Cut a 1 1/8” x 1 ¾” rectangle around the words and glue to the tag. Punch a 1/8” hole in the pointed end of the tag and attach to the bow on the card with a 10” piece of craft thread.
5. To make the recipe card, cut a 4” x 6” rectangle from the white cardstock. Punch three elegant border sections side by side on the blue cardstock. Symmetrically cut a 4” strip from the punched border that is ¾” wide. Glue the strip, including the narrow section, to the left side of the white cardstock rectangle. Trim the left corners of the white cardstock rectangle diagonally to make a tag shape. Cut a 3 ½” x 4 ¾” rectangle from the blue patterned paper. Punch a heart in the bottom right side of the patterned rectangle. Cut a 1” square from the blue cardstock and glue behind the heart. Glue rhinestones to the center of the heart. Glue the patterned rectangle angled on the right side of the recipe tag. Punch a ¼” hole in the center of the punched strip on the tag.

TIP: Place a recipe tag in each of the shower invitations. Have everyone write their favorite recipes on tags and ask them to bring the recipe tags to the shower. Place the recipe tags on a ring. Tie a bow around the ring with 7/8” narrow grosgrain ribbon and give it as a gift to the bride at the shower.
