Instructions
|
1. |
Use decoupage medium to adhere three coordinating
fabrics to chipboard. Set aside to dry. |
2. |
Using a 12” x 12” piece of cardstock
as the base, begin by lightly sanding the edges to add contrast
to the paper. Adhere a strip of coordinating blue mesh to the left
side of the page. |
3. |
Die-cut the words “fun in the sun” using
the Junk Drawer Alphabet. Using a repositionable adhesive, arrange
the die-cut letters in the upper right corner of the 12” x
12” cardstock. Chalk around each letter with turquoise chalk,
then carefully remove each letter to reveal the chalked title. |
4. |
Die-cut the word “summer” from white
cardstock using the Snickle Script Alphabet. Adhere the letters
between the chalked title as shown. |
5. |
When the decoupaged chipboard is dry, die cut one
Frame form each pattern of fabric covered chipboard. Accent the
edges of each Frame with a small amount of white paint. Embellish
the blue Frame with three coordinating pieces of ribbon, tied in
individual knots. Accent the green Frame with three buttons. |
6. |
Die-cut two Build-A-Flower #1 from white cardstock.
Punch a small hole in the right side of the blue and green Frame.
Using a small green brad, attach a small piece of folded green ribbon
and a few pieces of the Build-A-Flower to the edge of the Frame. |
7. |
Adhere photos to the back of each Frame, and attach
each Frame to the page using pop-up dots. |
8. |
Adhere photo strips next to the Frames as shown.
Lightly sand each outside edge of each photo strip. |
9. |
Accent the page by applying white run-on transfers. |
10. |
Die-cut five Build-A-Flower #1 from matching blue
cardstock, using on the thinnest Flower, randomly adhere to the
page to accent the photos. |
