Materials
Needed
12 x 12 sheet of cardstock or light
colored pattern paper
6 sheets of various color vellum paper
1 sheet light blue cardstock
Eyelets in complimentary color
Eyelet hole punch and setter
Hammer
Board or mat for setting eyelets
Clear photo corners
Acid-free adhesive
Pen for journaling
Instructions
1.
Cut colored vellum in various sizes to fit on page.
Allow some edges to overlap.
2.
Once the vellum is placed for effect, adhere vellum
to page with eyelets. To set eyelets, punch a hole through vellum
and cardstock with eyelet hole punch. Push eyelet through hole working
from front to back. Turn page over and place on solid surface such
as cutting board or stiff mat. Place eyelet setter on tip of eyelet
and strike setter with hammer a few times until the eyelet back
has spread to set.
3.
Tear light blue cardstock to size of photo allowing
about a ¼" border. Mount photo onto torn cardstock with
clear photo corners and then mount matted photo onto vellum with
acid-free adhesive.
4.
Tear vellum title strips, journal and mount with eyelets.
(If you prefer to journal with a computer, print out on full vellum
sheet and then tear strips.)
