Prepare die cuts first by lining around
the edges of the word "Spring" and where desired on the
flowers. Using either a sponge tip applicator or q-tip chalk lower
half of "spring word with light green and the upper half with
pink blending together at the center. Chalk around the petals of
the flowers making it darker on the edges and gradually lighter
towards the center. Try using a couple of shades of pink for more
detail. Use to chalk the centers. |

Now for the stained glass laser butterfly.
Adhere the vellum to the back of the butterfly. Turn both over and
place over a white scrap of paper. You should be able to see through
the vellum the details of the butterfly. Using a Galaxy Marker by
American Crafts (they color well on
slick surfaces) fill in the areas with desired colors. Turn your
butterfly over, and wah la! |

TIPS:
Just a few tips and tidbits of vital information. Handle die-cuts
by the edges as your fingers leave a oil residue that you won't
see until you aply the chalk (you can become an finger print expert).
Line before chalking to save the life of your pens. They dry out
quick if you line over the chalk. |
