Materials
Needed
3 sheets 8 ½ x 11 cardstock
Stylus
Oval shape template
Decorative design template
Acid-free removable tape
Pencil
Acid-free double-sided tape
Scissors
Instructions
1.
One sheet of cardstock will be your original starting
page. Lay the other two sheets of cardstock side by side without
overlapping and tape together using the removable tape. Measure
out 4 ¾" from the center on each side and cut off the
excess.
2.
Create vertical score lines with the ruler and stylus
½" in from the outside edge. The scored portion forms
the hinges. Fold back the hinges.
3.
Place and center the oval template on top of the taped
pages where they meet. Trace the oval where you want the opening
to be on your doors. Using the decorative template, trace flower
and ribbon design around doors and frame opening. Remove tape and
cut out oval frame shape.
4.
Apply double-sided tape to each hinge. Adhere one
hinge to the back of each side of the original page. Turn over and
mount photo inside page.
