Materials
Needed
12 x 12 sheet medium blue cardstock
12 x 12 sheet lighter blue cardstock
12 x 12 sheet corrugated light brown
cardstock
12 x 12 sheet corrugated rust cardstock
12 x 12 sheet brown cardstock to match
corrugated sheet
12 x 12 sheet cream cardstock
7 round, metal-rimmed tags
Piece of string or cord approximately
14” long
Brown chalk
Colored pencils
Foam dots
Ruler
Pencil
Scissors
Pen for journaling
Acid-free adhesive
Instructions
1.
Trim lighter blue cardstock to 11 ¼”
x 11 ¼” and layer and adhere to 12” x 12”
sheet of medium blue cardstock leaving a ¼” border.
Cut a piece of the light brown corrugated cardstock into a strip
3 ½” x 11 ¼”. Tear along one edge of strip.
Adhere strip along bottom edge of light blue cardstock with torn
edge up.

Crop and mat photos as desired using blue, brown,
and cream cardstock to double or triple mat photos. Cut various
size strips of corrugated cardstock and tear along one edge. Adhere
photos onto page as desired using corrugated strips as accents to
edges of matted photos.
3.
Create title strip by cutting a strip of rust corrugated
cardstock into a strip 2 ½” x 11 ¼” and
tear along one edge. For the tags, write each letter of the title
on a tag with black pen and an open letter style. Color in letter
with colored pencil and chalk around edge of tag. String tags onto
cording in the proper order and place over title corrugated strip.
Wrap edges of string around to the back of the strip and adhere
string to strip. Space tags out and adhere to strip with foam dot.
Adhere title strip to bottom edge of light brown corrugated strip.
Journal with pen or use computer font.
