Remember to choose colors of paper and embellishments
that compliment your photographs. Colors chosen here reflect the
colors in my photographs, but may not be the best colors to choose
for yours.
Instructions
1.
Apply adhesive to the photograph. Glue to yellow cardstock
then use the paper trimmer to trim the cardstock around the photograph
leaving a narrow border. Apply adhesive to the matted photographs.
2.
Choose a photograph with an all over theme then print
onto an 8.5” x 14” sheet of photo paper. Use the paper
trimmer to cut a piece 12” long and 2” wide from the
photo. This will be used to mat the vellum title.
3.
Using a computer, print the title and any journaling
you require onto the vellum. The title piece should be about 1.5”
wide and 11” long. The size of your journaling block should
be custom cut to fit in the space available on your background paper.
See photo of my project for layout idea.
4.
Center the title on the photo then use the hand punch
to make a small hole in the corner of the vellum and the background.
Push a brad into each of the corner holes to hold in place. Apply
adhesive to the back.
5.
Cut a mat from yellow cardstock for your journaling
block. The mat should be about 1/2” wider and longer than
the piece of vellum. Secure the vellum to the center of the yellow
cardstock with a small brad. Apply adhesive to the back.
6.
Referring to the project photo as a guide, arrange
your photos, title and journaling block on the background paper.
The repositionable adhesive will allow you to move these around,
but will become permanent.
