Instructions
1.
Trim gray cardstock to 11 ½” x 11 ½”.
Using a ruler and the white pencil, mark placement for weaving strips
along the top edge of the paper starting 5/8” in from the
upper left corner. Make two marks ¼” apart for each
strip. Allow ¾” space between each strip. Mark all
four sides of the gray paper in the same manner.
2.
Cut 22 patterned strips ¼” x 11 ½”
from the sunset paper. Place 11 strips vertically on the gray paper
positioning them inside the marks. Adhere the top ends in place.
3.
Begin to weave the first horizontal strip over and
under the vertical strips. Align with the pencil marks on each side
to be sure the horizontal strip is straight. Adhere the ends. Weave
the next strip under and over and secure the ends in place. Continue
until all strips have been woven together. When finished, adhere
the bottom ends of the vertical strips onto the paper.
4.
Mount entire woven page onto 12 x 12 black cardstock
allowing ¼” border around page. Use a lettering template
to outline title on patterned paper, cut and mat on black and mount
onto page. Add photos.
