Keep children’s hands busy while
you’re scrapbooking with their own photo game. Use scrapbook
supplies to develop games they can play right on the front of your
refrigerator!
Materials
Needed
Xyron 900 or 510 Machine
Xyron 150 Create A Sticker Machine
Laminate/Magnet cartridge
Fiskars Paper Edgers
Permanent Acid Free Adhesive cartridge
Photographs of People, Pets, Things or Places your children will
recognize
Colored Paper
Die Cut or Punched Alphabet Letters
in a variety of colors
Instructions
1.
Apply adhesive to the back of the photographs. Mat
with colorful paper of your choice about 1” wider and 1”
longer than the photograph.
2.
Replace the adhesive cartridge with the laminate/magnet.
Run the matted photograph through the machine to laminate the top
and apply a magnet sheet to the underside. NOTE: Photographs can
be matted with more than one color before applying the laminate/magnet.
3.
Trim around the photograph with decorative edge scissors.
4.
To make the alphabet letters, apply adhesive to the
letters (the “X” machine is great for this). Place the
letters 1” apart on strips of colored paper about 1”
wider than the letters. Run through the laminate/magnet cartridge,
then cut each strip into squares with the letter centered.
5.
Encourage your children to place the photographs on
the refrigerator then spell the name of the person/pet/place, etc
with the alphabet letters.
