Epson
computer tip: How to color restore your old photos using an Epson scanner
and photo printer |
There are many factors that can
contribute to damaging photos. Sunlight causes photos to fade, but there
are many other life threatening dangers to photos, even inside the house
including cigarette smoke, high humidity. |
Using an Epson scanner that has the special
ability to color restore, place an old photo on the scanner bed. Select
the Photo Option on the scanner. |
Next, check off the box that says “color
restore”. Right away you can see how much better the photo will look. |
Click on the “Marquee” box so that
I’m saving only the photo itself as part of the file, and not the
white background. |
Once it’s scanned you can print the picture.
