Shaker Box
Materials
Needed
White cardstock
Coordinating cardstock or pattern paper
Clear page protector or sheet of acetate
Scissors
Pen
Foam adhesive 1/8” – ¼”
thick
Small tooth-shape punch
Acid-free adhesive
Instructions
1.
Create the tooth shaker box shape by free-hand drawing
a large tooth shape or use a die cut or jumbo punch. Make one tooth
out of white cardstock (front of shaker box) and a second matching
shape out of another color cardstock or pattern paper (back of shaker
box).
2.
Cut a window in the white tooth and adhere a piece
of clear acetate or page protector over the opening. Outline the
back piece of the shaker box with the foam adhesive around the outside
edge of the tooth where the window will fit and on lower portion
of tooth.
3.
Punch out small tooth punches as filler for the shaker
box. Place filler inside the foam outline on the back side of the
box. Adhere the front side of the tooth box with the window on top.
Be sure that the front side of the window is facing out. The tooth
punches will float freely inside the shaker box. Outline tooth with
pen to accent and adhere to page.
