Instructions
1.
Mount photo on piece of vellum leaving at least a
one inch border
2.
Set up the ShapeBoss system with the Square Splash
stencil set.
3.
Insert the vellum between the two templates with the
picture face down. You will emboss the back side of the vellum.
4.
Find the rectangle design on the stencil and emboss
it on the border of the matte using the embossing tool. Be sure
to adjust the embossed design to evenly fit around the matte.
5.
Slip the vellum and photo out of the stencil and chalk
on the back of the vellum with purple chalk. Only chalk the embossed
(raised) designs.
6.
Mount the vellum on purple cardstock and mount that
on white cardstock. Use brads or gems in the corner of the photo
mattes. Place this on your scrapbook page.
7.
Print out the computer title My Sister, My Friend
onto vellum paper. Cut the title out using your paper trimmer.
8.
Punch each corner of the vellum title block with the
Lace 3 in 1 corner punch.
9.
Mount the title onto the purple paper and then onto
the white paper. Use brads to adhere the vellum to the purple paper.
10.
Arrange the photo and the title on the purple piece
of cardstock.
11.
The border is really easy! Take a 12 inch x 2 ½
inch piece of vellum and punch along the entire edge using the daisy
border punch. Repeat this on the other length of the vellum making
sure to line up the border so they are the same on each side.
12.
Mount this onto purple or white cardstock and adhere
it to the right side of the page.
Use the daisy border punch and the lace 3 in 1 corner
punch on a square piece of purple cardstock and mount that at the
center of the long border on the right side of the scrapbook page.
Add gems and brads where needed to decorate the border.
