More and more scrapbookers are giving digital scrapbooking a
try, but this doesn’t mean they have to leave their traditional
scrapbook supplies in the closet! You can start with a digital
project, and then embellish it with inks, add a few buttons, crumple
up the paper, and give it some texture! Or, if you
love the look of a digital kit, but you want to put your layout
together “traditionally”, simply print out all of
the digital papers and embellishments, cut them apart, and put
them together like you would with your normal scrapbook supplies.
Here we have created part of our scrapbook page digitally, but we have some great 3D embellishments we’d like to add in order to give the page more depth. All we need to do is print our page, and then adhere the embellishments!
This accordion album was created digitally in Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 3.0 and printed on 12x12 PremierArt Matte Scrapbook Photo Paper for Epson. We then added metal embellishments, inks, stickers, embroidery floss, and ribbon to the cover of the book; we also added painted slide mounts, rub-ons, and a leather flower to the inside pages. |
