Fiskars® Texture Plate:  Critters/Leather

Cut the 12x12 cardstock and decorative paper into 6x6 squares.

Place a navy square of cardstock on top of the leather side of the texture plate.   It’s best to have the texture side of the cardstock face-up.

Rub wax paper on top of the paper before you emboss.  Rub the embossing tool on top of the paper.  You will notice the indentions in the paper.  Keep repeating this until the embossed design covers the entire 6x6 square. 

Repeat this process using a 6x6 square of green cardstock and the critters side of the texture plate.

Use the corner rounder punch on the blue, green, shiny blue and plaid paper.  Cut two of the sides of each square with the decorative edge scissors.

Chalk on top of the 6 inch square of blue paper and around the edges.  This will help the leather embossed design “pop” out more on the paper.

Use the green ink and do the same technique with the green square with the critters design.  Ink around all edges with the brown Distress Ink.

Place the blue “leather” square in the upper left corner of your page.  Next, put the plaid square in the upper right corner – overlapping if you can. Place the shiny blue paper in the bottom left corner and the green “critter” paper in the bottom right corner. 

Adhere the larger photo on top of the four squares of paper.  Add smaller photos along the left side of the larger photo.

Print out a title and create the highlight word using sticker letters.  Trim the strips of the title with decorative scissors.  Use brads to attach the title.
