Some of the most fun
in scrapbooking can be had in starting and completing a small
project in one day! This topless album is just such a project
and the extra good news is, it's also what I call a “two-fer.”
From one 6x6 post-bound album, you get two mini-albums. Here's
how you do it:
3/8” Black and white gingham ribbon-
Morex Bobbin Ribbon
Paper glue
Handwritten or computer generated sentiment
Instructions
1.
Using paper trimmer, cut white cardstock to 5 ½”
x 8”. Score and fold in half using scoring blade for 5 ½”
x 4” card.
2.
Cut printed paper to 5 ½” x 4”.
Glue to front of card
3.
Use texture tool and Filigree plate from pack to
texturize red cardstock. Cut to 3” x 3” square and use
black ink pad to carefully ink over texture and edges of square.
4.
Cut blue cardstock to 3 ½” x 3 ½”
square. Ink edges.
5.
Print sentiment on remaining blue cardstock. Center
sentiment in 3” star form star shaped template and cut out
with the shape cutter. Use cutting mat to complete step. Ink edges
of star.
6.
Layer blue cardstock, red cardstock and star. Glue
to front of card. Punch stars from remaining blue cardstock and
glue to front of card. Ink edges if desired. Glue ribbon to complete.
