Beginners’ Tip: How to Incorporate
Stamping in Scrapbooking
By Laurie Smith |
There are many types
of ink for rubber stamping and all are appropriate for use in
your scrapbooks. Here are a few options: |
Instructions
|
1. |
Dye Ink-will dry fast |
2. |
Chalk ink- dries quickly, give a muted look. Very
easy to use and can layer different colors on your stamp. (easy
for beginner’s to use!) |
3. |
Solvent- is good for all non porous surfaces, like
plastic, metal, glass. Use a date stamp on photos on a collage layout
that covers a large time span.
Note: Does require a special cleaner.
|
An
easy way to begin using stamps on your pages is to start small.
Use a single word in your journaling, a date on the page, or create
your own title with word or alphabet stamps. |
