Use direct-to-paper inking technique to apply black
ink to the binder’s spine and back cover. Cut a 6 3/4”x6”
piece of green flowers paper. Glue to the binder’s front cover,
trim the corners with an X-acto® knife and ink the edges black.
Cut a 3/4”x6” piece of lavender cardstock, ink the edges
and glue flush with the left edge of the green flowers paper.

Cut a 2 3/4”x3 3/4” piece of lavender
cardstock and ink the edges black. Mat on green cardstock and trim
closely. Ink the edges. Stamp a “g” near the upper center
of the lavender rectangle. Use alphabet stamps to stamp the word
“girlfriend” underneath the “g”. Cut a 2
1/2” length of lime grosgrain ribbon, fold in half and staple
the folded end 1/4” in from the right edge of the lavender
cardstock and 3/4” from the top edge. Trim the tails at an
angle. Glue the matted lavender rectangle to the center of the binder
front.
