Instructions
1.
On the computer, turn a color photo to black and white
and enlarge it to 8”x10”. Sand, then ink the edges of
the photo with milled lavender distress ink.
2.
Mat the photo on lavender texture and ink the edges
with a black inkpad. Attach to the stitched floral border at an
angle.
3.
Stitch along the bottom right edge of the photo mat
by pre-poking holes with an awl and then sewing with a needle and
thread.
4.
For “Elise”, enlarge the café Mimi
font on the computer, print and trace it with a black pen onto the
lavender floral paper before cutting it out. Glue the letters to
the bottom of the photo and top the “i” with a white
mini brad.
5.
Stamp an “E” with white paint and a foam
stamp in the upper right corner of the photo. Cut out the pink tag
and glue horizontally to the left edge of the background paper,
4” from the bottom of the page. Top with a purple silk flower.
6.
Punch two small circles of patterned paper, ink the
edges with black and glue to the tops of white biggie brads. Insert
one in the center of the purple flower and the other below the stamped
“E”.
7.
Add a small purple flower below the biggie brad and
stamped letter by inserting a white embossed brad in the center.
Stitch the white button below that with thread.
8.
Cut out the small tag. Computer journal on white cardstock
and cut down to fit on the tag. Ink the edges black and center on
the tag. Use a black pen to faux stitch on the ends of the rectangle.
Thread a white button, attach it to the top of the tag and tie it
around the biggie brad in the large flower. Secure the tag with
foam tape. Use the black pen to journal next to the photo on the
left and right.
